***Trigger Warning*** Content: childhood abuse (sexual,
emotional, mental)***
April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Child Abuse
Prevention Month and here at S.A.G.E. we have a big desire to help
anyone who is struggling with abuse that has happened to them
through our healing modalities of physical, mental and spiritual
wellbeing. In today’s episode, I interviewed Claire Turner, child
abuse survivor and author of her recently released book, ONE, who
is using her voice to speak out against the terrors of child abuse
that she and her sister survived and the beautiful story of hope
and recovery that is possible for anyone who has been through this.
We hope that you will share this message to spread love and
hope!
Claire wrote this book as a message of hope for anyone who has suffered at the hands of an abuser, especially for those children out there who are now grown adults and still greatly affected by atrocities that happened to them as defenseless children. Claire writes from her heart in a well-written dialogue of letters written to her abuser as she literally fought for her life because of what was done to her.
